Tea tree oil can be used as it is directly on most skin. Some people are sensitive to the oil and applying it undiluted could cause adverse skin reaction. So like most oils, play it safe and dilute it (1 to 3 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil, like grapeseed oil or sweet almond oil or even cold pressed olive oil or shower gel whatever, before use)
