First, prep your nails for tha manicure.
- Remove all traces of nail polish. Apply your nail polish remover with a swab of cotton wool and wipe off the polish. Use another swab with more nail polish remover to clean off every trace of nail polish. For convenience, you might want to try polish remover pads instead.
- Soak your hands and feet (if you are doing a pedicure as well) in basins of warm water. Disperse a few drops of lavender oil in the water first for a relaxing treat.
- Towel dry your hands and feet completely.
- See to those cuticles. Don't get them. Just use a good cuticle treatment and leave it on for a couple of minutes. Blot off the excess then push the cuticles in with an orange stick.
