There are many different remedies for eczema. A milk and honey bath helped my kid when he had a bout of eczema. For that, I put in 3 tablespoons of full cream milk powder and 2 spoons of honey into his bath water and bathed him in it. Another way was to fill a fist sized satchet with oats and soak it in his bath water, scrubbing him with it. Only problem is that by mid day, he'd smell rather cheesy. A drop of mandarin oil made the bath smell a lot more pleasant, though the mid afternoon cheese smell still persisted.
