chamomile eye makeup remover
I needed some eye makeup remover and popped over at The Body Shop for supplies. They had this chamomile eye makeup remover which looked pretty good. Chamomile is after all one of the gentlest herbs around. It soothes the skin and nerves and is often used in products for babies. Chamomile is wonderful on sensitive skin. I guessed an eye makeup remover with chamomile would be great in that it cares for the skin as well as removes the makeup.
The label says it is for all-in-one lash and lid cleansing, conditioning and softening. For all skin types.

I tried it but I had to make sure I kept my eyes closed throughout until I washed it off. For double measure, since I use a foaming cleanser, after I apply the eye makeup remover, I rinsed with water, them washed again with foaming cleanser. The remover itself is a fragrant liquid that doesn't feel oily. At least not like the oils I'd been using to remove my mascara. Still, it was effective in getting the gunk off. A few drops to soak a cotton pad was enough to remove my eye makeup.
