I happened across a bottle of Nivea sun high protection sun lotion spf 30 at a sale, just before my vacation. Since I expect to spend plenty of time in the sun, I bought it and packed it into my luggage.
It turned out better than I expected. Most sunblocks irritate my face. My body takes most spf lotions well but my face either gets irritated or breaks out in pimples.
Nivea sun lotion is milky, not oily. It felt more like a hydrating day cream and my dehydrated skin drank it up. Yet it did not cause any pimples. My skin produces too much oil yet seems to lack moisture. That lotion provided moisture without the oil, even as it provided spf30 protection all over. I loved it.

Nivea sun prevented my skin from burning, and did not irritate my skin or my son's. (My little boy has eczema, but he had no problem with this lotion either). If you are looking for a good sunblock that is affordable, get nivea sun lotion because it protects your skin without irritating it.
