Clarifying Mask
Everyday, the dust in the air settles on your skin and gets trapped on your skin by the oil your skin produces. Some of the makeup you wear might remain even after a quick wash. Pollutants in the air, residue from the creams you may use, can all clog your pores, or at very least, dull your skin.
You might think your daily cleansing is enough. Still, there could be some residue left over by the very creams you use to lift off the makeup. I don't know about you but with my skin problems, I'm paranoid about thorough cleansing.
The age old way of dealing with this is to spring clean your skin regularly with a clay mask or anything that deep cleanses your skin. Typically, kaolin or other types of clay suitable for skin care is mixed with a herbal infusion and left to dry so that it would draw out the impurities trapped in the skin. A scrub can also be used to remove the dead skin cells and the dirt trapped with it on the surface of the skin.
These days, there are even more effective deep cleansing masks than the home made variety. Plenty of money has been invested in the research necessary to create highly effective skin clarifying products.
Maintain your skin. Prevent break outs and brighten your skin by using a good clarifying mask regular. Use one of these thrice a week if your skin is oily, or once a week if your skin is normal.
