For your home manicure
- Turn on your favourite music
- Remove all the nail polish from your fingers and toes.
- Wash your hands and feet with soap and water.
- Half fill 2 basins per person with warm water. Add 3 drops of lavender oil (or more if you like) into each basin.
- Soak your hands in 1 basin and your feet in another basin for 10 minutes
- Use a cuticle stick to push in the cuticles if you'd like (Don't cut them)
- Apply a colorless base coat on your nails to protect them.
- Once that coat is dry, paint your nails in a single base color (1 different color per nail or all nails in the same color.. whatever you fancy)Always have that bottle of nail polish remover and cotton buds handy to erase any mishaps.
- Let that color dry before applying a second coat in the same color.
- Once the second coat of color is completely dry, it is time for nail art. You might want to do this yourself or do this for each other. just paint designs on each nail. Flowers, letters, whatever you fancy, treating the nail as a canvass for your work of art
- Once everything is done and totally dry, protect your nails with a coat of clear, colorless nail polish.
